These Terms & Conditions ("Agreement") govern your use of the Tickerly website and your enrolment in any Tickerly educational program. Please read them carefully before submitting a contact form or enrolling. By using our website or enrolling in a program, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
Definitions
- "Agreement" means these Terms & Conditions in their current form.
- "Content" means all materials, text, charts, worksheets, and other resources produced by Tickerly and made available through the Programs.
- "Program" means any of Tickerly's educational offerings: the Stock Market Basics Course, the Understanding the Market Workshop, or the Complete Market Literacy Program.
- "Participant" / "You" / "User" means any individual who accesses the website or enrolls in a Program.
- "We" / "Us" / "Our" / "Tickerly" means the entity operating this website and delivering Programs, based at Jalan Bukit Bintang, 55100 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website or submitting a programme enquiry or enrolment, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age;
- You have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement;
- You agree to be bound by this Agreement and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to any part of this Agreement, please do not use the website or enrol in any Program.
Description of Services
Tickerly provides general market literacy education through three structured Programs. All Programs are educational in nature and do not constitute regulated financial, investment, or professional advice of any kind. Programs are available primarily to residents of Malaysia, though participation by individuals outside Malaysia is not expressly restricted.
Program content is provided in English. Program availability, schedule, and format (online or in-person) are subject to change and will be confirmed at the time of enrolment.
Enrolment and Programme Access
- Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment and a written confirmation from Tickerly.
- Access to program materials is provided through the designated platform or venue as communicated at enrolment.
- Workshop and Complete Program cohort places are limited. A place is only reserved upon payment confirmation.
- You are responsible for maintaining any login credentials or access details provided. Do not share access with third parties.
- Tickerly may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated.
Participant Responsibilities
By enrolling in a Program, you agree to:
- Engage respectfully with facilitators and other participants;
- Not record, redistribute, or reproduce any Program Content without prior written permission;
- Not use Program Content in any manner that implies financial advice or professional recommendation to others;
- Not share access credentials or permit third parties to access the Program on your behalf;
- Acknowledge in all communications that Tickerly programs are educational only and do not constitute personal financial advice.
Intellectual Property
All Content produced by Tickerly — including course modules, worksheets, annotated charts, the terms index, and reading library materials — is the intellectual property of Tickerly. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use Content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes during and after your enrolment.
You may not reproduce, sell, sublicense, or publicly display any Content without express written authorisation from Tickerly. This does not restrict your use of publicly available third-party sources referenced in our reading lists, which are subject to the terms of their respective publishers.
Payment Terms
- All fees are denominated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM).
- Current program fees: Stock Market Basics Course — RM 512; Understanding the Market Workshop — RM 1,670; Complete Market Literacy Program — RM 2,970.
- Accepted payment methods: online bank transfer (FPX), credit or debit card, and selected e-wallets. Payment details are provided upon confirmation of your enquiry.
- Refund policy: Requests for refund submitted more than 14 days before the program start date will receive a full refund. Requests submitted 7–14 days before the start date will receive a 50% refund. Requests submitted fewer than 7 days before the start date are non-refundable. For self-paced courses, a full refund is available within 7 days of access being granted, provided fewer than 20% of modules have been accessed.
- Tickerly reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a program cohort. In such circumstances, participants will be offered a full refund or an alternative cohort place.
Educational Disclaimer
All Tickerly Programs are general educational content only. Nothing within any Program, website page, communication, or material produced by Tickerly constitutes regulated financial advice, investment advice, or a personal recommendation of any kind. Tickerly is not a licensed financial institution, investment advisor, or regulated entity under the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 (Malaysia).
Participants are solely responsible for any decisions they make. For personal financial decisions, participants are encouraged to consult a licensed financial planner or adviser registered with the relevant Malaysian authority.
Disclaimers
Programs and website content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Tickerly makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any Content. While we take care to keep Content accurate and current, we do not warrant that all information is error-free or up to date at all times.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Tickerly shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use of any Program or the website, including but not limited to any financial loss or decisions made in reliance on educational content.
Tickerly's total aggregate liability to any participant, for any claim arising out of this Agreement, shall not exceed the total fees paid by that participant for the specific Program giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in this Agreement limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by Tickerly's negligence.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tickerly, its staff, and facilitators from and against any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms, your use of Program Content in a manner not permitted by this Agreement, or your violation of any applicable law.
Termination
Tickerly may terminate or suspend your access to any Program without prior notice if you breach any material term of this Agreement. Upon termination, refund eligibility will be assessed based on the refund policy in Section 7.
You may withdraw from a Program at any time by notifying us in writing. Refund eligibility follows the policy in Section 7. Sections 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination of this Agreement.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Malaysia. The courts of Malaysia shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or in connection with this Agreement.
Before initiating formal proceedings, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith discussion. Contact us at [email protected] to initiate informal resolution. If no resolution is reached within 30 days, either party may proceed to formal legal proceedings in the appropriate Malaysian court.
General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: This Agreement, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Tickerly.
- Severability: If any provision of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
- Waiver: Failure by Tickerly to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of the right to do so in future.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under this Agreement. Tickerly may assign its rights in connection with a business transfer.
- Notices: Legal notices to Tickerly should be sent to [email protected] or by post to the address in Section 16.
Changes to These Terms
Tickerly may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top. For material changes, we will notify enrolled participants by email where reasonably practicable. Continued use of the website or Programs after the effective date of revised terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
